Becoming a MemberIn this joint AC/ASC lecture, David will give an account of a winter crossing of the Pyrenees that he and Steve Kentish made in 2020. The journey started on the shores of the Mediterranean in mid January aiming to reach the Atlantic by late March. The journey of 44 stages was completed over 63 days, covering 724 km with 54,000 meters of ascent. The duo were prepared for challenging logistics, difficult snow conditions and variable weather. There is no official charge for entry, but we do ask those non-members who are able to make a small contribution to allow the lectures to keep running.
