AC combined assault on the Dubh Slabs, 2019
A chance to visit the Cuillins of both Skye and Rum, with an initial weekend in Glencoe. This meet aims to take advantage of the UK’s most mountainous terrain with scrambling and rock climbing of all grades, and is one of the key meets in the Alpine Club’s diary.
This is a perfect opportunity to attempt traverses of the Skye and Rum Cuillins, with some of the most active members of the club. For most, Glencoe is en route to Skye, so the first weekend will provide a chance to enjoy climbing in the most famous of all Highland Glens.
Book early! Lift shares may be available from London or Glasgow (or elsewhere), for those who may wish to book cheap advance train travel. There is the option to join for all or part of this meet.
