The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857.  For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

There is no entry charge, but non-members of AC or ESC are asked to confirm by email to Tony Westcott (This email address is being protected from spambots. The Nova Scotia is a well-known Bristol landmark, situated at the western end of the Floating Harbour, with ample local parking and good beer.
