The Alpine Club, the world’s first mountaineering club, was founded in 1857. For over 150 years, members have been at the leading edge of worldwide mountaineering development and exploration.

Becoming a MemberCalling Alpine Aspirants and lapsed Alpinists hoping to score ‘the big 20’ of routes needed to become Full Members of the prestigious Alpine Club.
‘The Journeyman’ AC meet will be based in the Chamonix area with access to scores of 4000m peaks, multipitch climbs and crags offering a diverse range of grades from PD and above.
Accommodation in a self-catering Argentiere chalet, with a separate campsite also on offer.
A professional guide will offer training and instruction, while a member of the local mountain rescue team will offer a safety briefing.
