Ben Silvestre and Pete Graham climbed a hard new route on the east face of Jezebel, in Alaska’s Revelations Range, at the southwest end of the Alaska Range, one of the most significant British ascents of the year.
Peter will be talking about their route, Hoar of Babylon and his views on expedition planning: 'Mountains take days to climb, months to prepare for, and live with us for a lifetime awards. Often the greatest struggle isn't getting from the bottom to the top but to the but to the bottom in the first place. For some people that struggle is pain enough to stop them from trying, or stop them midway, but with the right attitude the journey to the mountain can be as rewarding as the climb itself.
